Time to plan out the meal for a week. Do I ever grow tired of making plans? Sure, sometimes. But I know taking a little extra time and effort on a Saturday or Sunday to think ahead is best for my family and me. As I've stated before, I may not always stick to the schedule; however the benefits of having one are remarkable for me!
Check out this week's plan: a few new meal ideas and some past favorites too!
Monday, July 24, 2011 - (NEW) Chicken, Spinach and Corn Fritters. Serve with baked chips and salsa.
Tuesday, July 25, 2011 - Turkey burgers. Serve with (NEW) roasted sweet potato coins
Wednesday, July 26, 2011 - (NEW) Slow cooker teriyaki chicken. (NEW) Serve with pineapple rice.
Thursday, July 27, 2011 - Leftovers. Or Sandwiches. Or Eat Out. (We'll keep it flexible!)
Friday, July 28, 2011 - Chili and Cheese Fritos
Saturday, July 29, 2011 - For breakfast: (NEW) Spinach Frittata - I think we will cut this recipe in half! For dinner: Grilled fish, chicken, vegetable kabobs and other things we decide to toss on the grill or in our smoker!
Sunday, July 30, 2011 - For breakfast: Rolling Pancake - this time I'm going to add blueberries and strawberries to it! Yummy~!
For dinner: Slow cooked red beans and rice.
This week's dessert plans include:
1.) Blueberry Chocolate Muffin Tops - What is not to love about the looks of these? (So long as they don't add to my real life "muffin top", you know what I'm saying??)
2) Healthy Cherry Muffins - I think I will add some orange zest and juice to this as well!
Have you decided yet what you'll be cookin' this week? Anything special lined up?
Sweet Potato Coins sounds delicious!!! Loving the recipes you shared this week! I'm starving!
